Griffiths offers the Kuehl Expansion Valves for the Porsche 964, C2, and C4 models, years 1989-1994. We also offer Kuehl Expansion Valves for the Porsche 993 model, years 1995-1998.  You should consider replacing your expansion valve when there is indication of valve leakage,  or a faulty valve with signs of staying open, partially open or closed. Kuehl expansion valves, also known as a “TEV” or “TXV”, are compatible with R12 and R134a refrigerants and include o-rings.
