Griffiths offers Kuehl Expansion Valves for Porsche air conditioning on the Porsche 986, 987, 996, Boxster, and 997 models. You should consider replacing your expansion valve when there is indication of valve leakage, or a faulty valve with signs of staying open, partially open or closed. Kuehl expansion valves, also known as a “TEV” or “TXV”, are compatible R134a refrigerants and include o-rings.
