The Porsche 964 R134a Conversion Deluxe Kit by Kuehl includes- Kuehl receiver drier, XH9 type desiccant, compatible with R134a and R12 refrigerants
- Straight Low and High Side R134a charge port adapters with their own valve core (our solid steel body with its own valve core is superior to inexpensive aluminum types)
- 8 ounce can of polyoester ("Ester") oil
- R134a compliance sticker
- Complete set of HNBR R134a compatible o-rings
- Our basic "How to Convert Guidelines"
- Porsche 964 Year 1989-1992, turbo and normally aspirated models.
- LH and RH drive models.
- A) Prior to installing the R134a conversion kit the auto's ac system must be evacuated by a qualified ac technician to remove the refrigerant. After installing the R134a conversion kit the ac system should be inspected, evacuated, refilled and tested by a qualified ac technician as well.
- B) Conversion kits do not include R134a refrigerant. We suggest refrigerant charging should be handled byan experienced and qualified ac tech.

It’s been more than a year, perhaps closer to two, since I did the conversion from R12 to R134a, and my 1992 Porsche 911 is still providing me with nice cold air. The conversion was easy and obviously very effective.

Had a hot system after having the car garaged for four years. Took the kit to a AC shop, they installed the valves, charged the system, and I had cold AC again. Perfect!

Everything was a perfect fit and changed out all the boring seals. Evacuated the system and put in 5oz of oil. The 89 Porsche has been converted from r12 to 134a.

AC in my 964 had quit years ago. Bought the kit and had my indy mechanic install it. He had never done it before, but in 2.5 hours the kit was installed, system evac’ed and recharged. He said kit was complete and easy to follow the instructions. The 964 is blowing cold air again!
