91157314906 Porsche 911-930 AC Barrier Hose
Griffiths’ Kuehl brand 91157314906 Porsche 911-930 AC Barrier Hose. Replaces PN 91157314903. This hose assembly connects between the evaporator outlet and compressor inlet on LHD models. This hose attaches to outlet port on the evaporator and then runs downward through a slot on the LH front side of the “smugglers box” (located in the trunk), it then is routed under the steering rack and moves along the bottom of the tub toward on the RH side adjacent the oil cooler lines, and continues under the RH rear inner fender wall seam and passes through a slot to the engine compartment near the heater box and RH shock tower and connects to the York Compressor. Replaces part number 91157314903 Evaporator to Compressor Barrier Hose Assembly (cars with Nippondenso or Denso compressors). On RHD models there there is an extension hose attached between its end and the evaporator outlet, that pn is 91157352502 (order separately). The original factory hose tends to get damaged by car lifts near the RH rear lift point. Replacement of the 91157314906 Porsche 911-930 AC Barrier Hose assembly requires the following:- Recovery of refrigerant from the system prior to removal
- Supporting the vehicle on a lift, or 4 jack stands.
- Removal of the splash cover under the cross member.
- Removal of rear RH tire.
- Disconnecting the ends at evaporator outlet and compressor inlet (use two wrenches to avoid damaging evaporator fittings).
- Removal of all hose clamps under the vehicle tub from the rear to the front.
- Installing a new receiver drier.
- Evacuation, charge and testing of the ac system.
