Kuehl brand 477820909 Porsche 924-924S-924T-944 Expansion Valve. Includes Valve with new o-rings, sensor clip, and prestite black insulation tape. Also called a TEV or TXV. The Kuehl Expansion Valve has one copper tube. The top copper tube is hermetically sealed and has a coil or pigtail on the end. The pigtail is clamped onto the top of the evaporator outlet pipe to sense outlet temperature. Symptoms of Expansion Valve failures include freezing evaporator core, flooding evaporator core, excessive low and high side pressures. Before you replace your expansion valve you should troubleshoot similar symptoms to determine if your valve is failing.- Also called a "TXV" or thermostatic expansion valve
