Update the old sensors in the 993. The stock probs were installed to short cuaeing the evaporator to freeze by never shutting off. Buy two propes and tie them together, there is no hot or ground, just tie them together and use two . Spread them out and put them deep in the coil. The just push in the fins

THIS IS MY SECOND COMPLETE A/C SYSTEM UPGRADE USING GRIFFITHS PARTS- 1995 Porsche 993. I replaced the stock temp probe with the Griffiths probe. It is thinner, inserts easily but tightly in fins of evaporator. Instructions were straight forward and simple. The car’s AC system, after complete flush, removal and draining of compressor, new oil and a charge. holds vacuum and now blowing vent temp of 47F with outside temp 95F. The car’s AC never has performed like this. Worth the completely labor intensive removal of the “suitcase” and replacement of the evaporator. I only wish Griffiths still manufactured their own evaporator.
